Abigail was in love with Gregory, and the two of them lived on the opposite banks of a river that was teeming with human-devouring alligators. Abigail, who was carrying Gregoryâs child, wanted to be with Gregory, so she went to Sinbad, the riverboat captain, to ask him to take her across.
