PRESENTATION OUTLINE
“Nothing will overcome God’s will. Nothing can oppose His purposes.”
-Mohler Jr.
What is God’s will and what are His purposes for me today?
I. God Speaks as His People pray:
Luke’s main point is that God initiates or ignites the mission of the Church.
Think about what leader you could learn from and what area of ministry would be helpful to serve in.
What is “Common Ground” when developing an evangelism strategy?
After Developing a “Common Ground Focus” ask:
After Developing a “Common Ground Focus” ask:
- In what places should you hang out in order to build these relationships with those you want to reach?

- How will you invite others to join you at the table or to be apart of your life?
After Developing a “Common Ground Focus” ask:
- How will you commit to listening prayer for those that God is sending you to?
After Developing a “Common Ground Focus” ask:
- How will you commit to listening prayer for those that God is sending you to?
- What will you specifically do so that those that God is sending you to will hear the gospel this year?
Jesus is the perfect example of “common ground” evangelism.
Enemy of Righteousness:
- Goes against God and His character.
- God’s will can be understood clearly when we study God Himself. His character and attributes are a reflection of His will.
Full of deceit and villainy:
- Disguises itself as truth but has ulterior motives either in gain or the joy of ruin.
- God’s purposes are made clear in His promises.
Makes straight paths crooked:
- Confusion is one way that we can be stopped from doing anything at all.
- God does not desire us to live paralized in confusion but has given us His Holy Spirit, His Holy Word, and His Holy People.
Spiritual Blindness as a Consequence:
- Seeking to be led by whoever would take your hand: latest idea, philosophy, spiritualism fad.
- Jesus seeks to lead you out of blindness and darkness and into His marvelous light.
How can I have zeal for the Gospel?
You must first be a Christian.
You need to believe that you are sent.
If you believe you are sent you will live like someone who is sent.
You don't have to do it alone.
