REPRODUCTIVE METHODS

  • All mammals reproduce sexually.
  • Sperm from the male fertilizes the female's egg.
  • Some males establish breeding territories.
  • Females can lay eggs or give birth to live off spring.

MAMMALIA DIET

  • Mammals eat almost anything.
  • Mammals like shrews eat insects.
  • Plant-eaters include horses and deer.
  • Carnivorous mammals eat both plants and animals.

ECOLOGICAL NICHE
Mammals feed on other animals lower than them on the food chain which is essential for population control.
