YALE UNIVERSITY OF MEDICINE
New Haven, CT was founded in 1638 by English Puritans. In 1759, they planted 250 buttonwood and elm trees. This led to the city's nicknames, The Elm City.

Since the former Handsome Dans' death, there has been 17 Handsome Dans. The current Handsome Dan's name is Sherman and has been Handsome Dan since 2006.
