Miracle Question

In Solution-Focused we ask the miracle question, Suppose you woke up tomorrow and by some miracle you have everything you ever wanted for school counselor profession. Everything good you could ever imagine for yourself as a SC had actually happened, and everything is exactly as you imagined.
What would be the first sign that this occurred?
What might you do differently as a SC?
What else would be different after the miracle?
Who would notice this change? What would they notice?

Advocacy

SC are ideally situated to serve students in meeting career, academic, and social/emotional standards.
We do this through direct and indirect student services

Collaboration

Working with stakeholders, SC access a wide range of support for student achievement and development that cannot be achieved alone

Systemic Change

One part of a system can have a dramatic impact on that system; that is the impact that CSCP has on a school. SC are uniquely positioned to identify systemic barriers to student achievement
