PROTAGONIST

• Andrew Wiggin- same protagonist as Ender's game
• Raised as a military genius
• Commanded a war for humanity against aliens
• After winning the war the populace decides he murdered the aliens
• Earned him the nickname "Ender the Xenocide"

VALENTINE

• Andrew's sister
• Secretly she is the famous author demosthenes
• She uses that alias to publish her political opinions
• Both her and andrew have been alive for 3000 years
• The use space travel to distort time and travel from planet to planet

MIRO

• Andrew's stepson
• Crippled by electrical fence and is mostly paralyzed
• Difficult to speak and perform day to day tasks
• Left planet and didnt age for 30 years
• Now he is less than half the age of his siblings

JANE

• Jane is not human or any other known species
• Works kind of like a sentient computer program
• Helps Andrew and Miro by handling technology
• She has access to any computer connected to the ansible
• The ansible is sort of like wi-fi but instantaneous speeds

ANTAGONIST

• The main "enemy" is actually just a virus called Descolada
• Virus is extremely potent and deadly
• It kills humans but is necessary for native species
• The virus adapts to medication extremely fast
• They are running out of time before the virus is immune to medication

SETTING

• Planet named Lustania
• Very far into the future, many science advancements
• 3 species on one planet, buggers, pequeninos, and humans
• All 3 species are mostly friendly towards wach other
• All of them want to get off the planet

CONFLICT

• There is a virus that will kill 2 out of the 3 species
• They are running out of time before the virus evolves too much
• The government has already authorized a starship to destroy the planet
• There needs to be a way to get thousands of people off a planet fast
• They only have 5 scientists to work on all these problems

Rising action

There are two species of sentient beings on a planet that will be destroyed very soon. The destruction of a species is Xenocide and is the worst possible outcome of the situation. There are 8 people working on traveling faster than light, curing an uncureable disease, and stopping a fleet of warships from destroying a planet. Xenocide is inevitable.

Climax
Through a sentient being known as Jane faster than light travel has been deemed possible. And with this solution comes the answer to the other problems. While traveling faster than light an outside force reads your "pattern." This force can also complete other patterns such as, finishing a cure for an uncureable disease. After completing faster than light travel the cure is found but there is still the looming threat of a fleet of warships that do not know the problem is over.

Resolution
A cure is found, a new way of travel is discovered, and there are still dozens of warships approaching at light speed from far away. Xenocide may still be inevitable.
