CHILDREN

Kids needed to help in making food wether they went to school. Schools had victory gardens in vacant parking lots or on roofs. Kids also farmed, this influenced kids to farm on their own at their house to help with war effort.

TEENAGERS

With the war going on places still needed jobs, with that people turned to teens to work. Many states even had to change the child labor job to allow them to work. The war effort increased with the number of teens joining jobs. Sadly about one million kids dropped out to work.
