  • 1917- The U.S enters WWl on the allied side.
  • 1918- The Allies win WWl when Germany surrenders

  • Archduke Franz Ferdinand- Assassinated by a Serbian in 1914.
  • Woodrow Wilson- President of the United States during WWl.
  • Gen. John Pershing- The commander of the AEF during WWl.
  • Henry Cabot Lodge- U.S Senator who opposed the League of Nations.

Reasons for U.s INVOLVEMENT in wwi

  • Close ties with the allies- We share the notion of democracy.
  • RUN- Russia exits the war due to war weariness.
  • Zimmerman Note- Telegram sent by Germany, that Mexico allied with Germany.
