HOW IT ALL STARTED

  • While the US was under the Great Depression, World War 2 began.
  • World War 2 began 1939.
  • Germany was under the dictatorship of Adolf Hitler.

PEARL HARBOR

  • Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor on December 7th 1941.
  • The Japanese tried to take over.
  • Germany and Italy declared war on the US.
4.

HOW UTAH WAS INVOLVED

  • Utah was involved in all aspects if the war.
  • The children had to be in bed at 9:00 pm and lights out t 10:00 pm
  • They thought Utah was the safest place because it was the farthest from either coast
