Wilt Chamberlain was
born on August 21, 1936

Before playing in the NBA, he played for the University of Kansas and the Harlem Globetrotters

At the University of Kansas, he started out on the freshman team.

He didn't last long on the freshman team. He scored 52 points in his first varsity game.

The NBA didn't allow people who didn't finish their studies to play in the NBA.

So after his Junior year, he went and played for the Globetrotters.

NBA Career

Wilt Chamberlain played for three NBA teams throughout his career.

He was drafted to the Philadelphia/San Francisco Warriors in 1959. He played there from 1959 to 1965.

On March 2nd, 1962, Wilt Chamberlain scored 100 points in one game.

His 100 point game came with the Philadelphia Warriors. he is still the only person to do this in the NBA.

Wilt Chamberlain was traded in 1965 to the Philadelphia 76ers and played there until 1968.

After three years the the 76ers he was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in 1968

He played for the Lakers for 5 years (1968-1973)

After the nba

After the NBA, Wilt Chamberlain took up an interest in volleyball.

He became a board member for the International Volleyball Association.

After Volleyball he gave interest to the film industry.

After Volleyball he gave interest to the film industry.

He played a villainous role as a counter part to Arnold Schwarzeneger.
