THE LIFE OF SHAKEPSEARE
William Shakespeare was born in Stratford on April 23, 1564.
He died on his said date of birth in 1616 at the age of 52.
You can find his grave in the
chancel of Holy Trinity church in Stratford.

He was born to Mary and John Shakespeare.
He had grandparents Richard Shakespeare and Mary Arden.
His children's names were Susanna Hall, Hamnet Shakespeare, and Judith Quiney.
Anne Hathaway was his wife.

HIS CAREER
He was a poet and playwright who wrote 38 plays,154 sonnets, and two poems.
He spent his adult life in London from about 1585-92.
He wrote plays for Lord Chamberlain's Men, later known as the King's Men.
The Globe Theatre was the name of Shakespeare's theatre.
