Basic facts Owen was born in March 18 1893 in Owestry, United Kingdom. His parents were Harriet Susan Shaw and Thomas Owen. He educated at Wakeman school and graduated at University of reading.
Owen was an English poet and ww1 soldier. He was one of the most famous poets in ww1, his famous songs were duke et decorum sat and, anthem for the doomed youth. On 21 October 1915 he volunteered in the artists rifle officers training corps. His poets during ww1 described the horrors of trenches and gas warfare, he was well known for war poetry.
Owen had been writing romantic poems when he was 10. However, he was killed on 4 November 1918 during the crossing of the sambre-oise canal. Then, his body was buried at ors conmunal cemetery.
