WILD WEATHER

"BOOM! CRASH!" That's the sound of a storm racing through a city! Storms are interesting because there are all different kinds! For example, there are blizzards, tornados, and hurricanes. In this book, we will talk about all of these! In fact, the longest lasting tornado is 3 and a half hours! If you want to learn more, turn the page and all your questions will be answered!

TORNADOES

Have you ever wondered what the most damaging tornados? It's probably worst than you thought! The worst tornados nearly killed 2,000 and injured nearly 700! It happened March 18th 1995 and came over Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana (Can it rain cats and dogs by Melvin Berger). Overall, Tornadoes are deadly if you think about it. If your opinion is the same as mine, you would hate to be stranded in the middle of one!

BLIZZARDS

Everybody thinks of snow to be pleasant but, have you ever wondered what it can really do? On March 11th and March 12th, 1888, more than 60 inches of snow fell in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Connecticut (cry.noaa.gov)! That's not the only thing blizzards can do. Blizzards also made over 200 ships become lost and all 400 people on those ships lost their lives! The worst thing about this is it was from one storm! Blizzards can cause lots of damage such as, losing family, friends, and sometimes yourself!

HURRICANES

Some people call hurricanes by other names such as Typhoons or Cyclones, depending on where they occur (spaceplace.nasa.gov). Hurricanes most often strike along the Gulf of Mexico or near the Atlantic Coast (Wild Weather by Melvin Berger). If there is a Hurricane, make sure you are protected by a strong surface!

CONCLUSION

"Drizzle... drizzle." That's the sound of a storm dying down. Blizzards, tornadoes and hurricanes all come to an end. In this case, so does an essay! I hope all your questions were answered and ones you didn't even think of got answered! Tornadoes, blizzards, and hurricanes are very interesting storms but, you always needs to remember they can be dangerous too!
