WHY WE WANT A DOG!

TYPE OF DOGS

• Please no questions till the end thank you
• We would only get a hypoallergenic
• Here are some of the dogs we want listed below:
• Labradoodle (medium dog)
• Havenese (small dogs )
• Golden doodle (medium dog)
• We liked those dogs and others but those we some of our favorites! If you had any suggestions we are open minded.

TRAINING

• How would we train it you ask?
• We would teach the dog
• We would teach it to pee in a certain spot(already researched how)
• Train it tricks
• Whatever you want us to train it
• If you would like more training by more experienced people you can go to a dog training place but however they do cost around $100

MEDICAL

• How would we deal with medical stuff?
• We would watch the dog very carefully to make sure it doesn't do anything it shouldn't eat,touch,get into,ect
• What happens if it eats something example sock. Well if we got a small dog none of that would be a problem it wouldn't be able to eat the sock!
• Checkups you must be thinking?
• We have already found nearby vets that would be good for the pet!
• The normal amount for a checkup is Around $50 emergencies can be more but we will try to prevent those as much as possible!
• There are also other exams they do once a year that cost from $18-45 depending on what it is and what kind of dog. If you have small dog it will not cost as much. some exams cost more if the vet thinks you need it for some sort of reason which can cost more. (Example:allergies)

OUTSIDE

• Wellll as you know we would need a fenced in place...
• I have two ideas.
• We could do the whole yard
• Or we could fence in a certain part of the yard
• I personally think we should do the whole yard because we might as well and it will be more secure for everyone!
• And don't forget the part where our neighbors is done on that side!

WHAT THE DOG WOULD NEED

• Keep in mind there is a slide saying how we will help with this coming up.
• Dog bed (Amazon has good prices)
• Dog crate (Amazon has good prices)
• Dog toys (amazon has good prices) (there's also toys at dollar store if u wanna be cheap)
• Dog leash (Amazon has good prices)
• Dog collar (Amazon has good prices)
• Dog food & water bowl (Amazon has good prices)
• ***amazon has cheap prices and we could prob get some stuff from friends***
• There is more but you get the main idea

DOG FOOD

• The average cost for little dog food is around $20 per bag. (50lbs)
• We would also need treats (treats don't cost as much only like $10 a bag)

ADOPTING THE DOG

• If you get a dog from a breeder it is a little more money than getting it from a shelter.
• Getting it from a shelter is a little less.
• If you do get it from a shelter there are some downs you can not name it because it might already have a name. The dog may not be a puppy and might have not grown up with our family. You get the point.
• Personally we would like a dog from a breeder. We understand if not though.
• The annual average yearly cost for a small dog is $580 including food,medical,toys/treats,license,health insurance!
• The yearly grooming is about $300.
• And last the spay will cost about $190
• Keep in mind we will try to contribute as much as possible.

FOSTERING

• If you do not think it is time and may want to see what it would be like we could foster a dog!

VACATION

• what if we go on vacation.....
• We could ask Marybeth she would probably watch it
• We could ask auntie flo in
• We think we have plenty of options

WHO WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT

• In the morning before school we feed it
• As a puppy it needs to be feed 3 times a day so either when dad has lunch if it's not to much he could feed it and let it go to the bathroom or we could feed it after school
• We also would feed it at night
• We would let it go to the bathroom before school and at night we would need a favor from dad if he could let it go to the bathroom during his lunch break
• When we go outside to play we could bring the dog
• If dad is outside working maybe he could take the dog too
• We would walk the dog! After school and if we couldn't we would let it outside.
• We would also pooper scoop

HOW COULD WE BUY STUFF TOO

• We would do chores for you to earn money to help buy stuff
• We would keep house extra clean too because the house can't be messy with a dog!

THE DOG WOULD BRING US TOGETHER AS FAMILY

• The dog would bring tons of happy memories for the family!
• We would have fun we could take the dog on the boat
• Have memories from when we are playing with the dog
• After all people who have dogs are happier and live longer!😀
• Childhood memories

A DOG WILL TEACH RESPONIBILITY

• The dog will teach us responsibility about feeding,walking,etc
• We will learn more and have great childhood memories
• Waking up earlier

DOG

• We really hopes this makes you guys feel different towards a dog and that you at least will think about one.
• We all would REALLY like a dog and I hope you guys will consider it.
• Also Amelia's birthday is coming up sooooo you could think about something for your teenagers birthday! And I would take dog stuff and ask for stuff if you get one for me.
