• We believe this is the most important reason to study history

• Abraham Lincon was one of the best Presidents
• Martin Luther King Jr. put an end to segregation
• Nelson Mandela fought for human rights
• Jesus died on the cross to save us
• These are some of the people we should strive to be like

SO WE KNOW HOW LUCKY WE ARE TODAY

• Can you imagine going without TV or video games?
• How about traveling from one place to another without a car?
• Can you hunt and gather your food for your next meal?
• By learning about the past, we can learn how bright our future is
