WHY I SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE APP CHALENGE

WHY I SHOULD

• I am positive we will go on to the national level and win there. This could potentially go on my record that my team and I won. This fact is particularly appealing to colleges. I could get scholarships and you guys can have more money in the future.
• Don't you want money to do what you want in the future after we leave the house? You can go on a nice vacation, buy a nice car, get rental property (make more money) and your left with the nice feeling knowing your daughters have succeeded in life.

• Another perk is if we go to the national level, you guys can be mentioned in the news. All your coworkers can see what wonderful parents you are.
• I can also get extra credit in some classes if I do this. You guys like it when I get extra credit, am I right?!
• There is an essay portion of the app challenge that I am writing because I enjoy writing. Wouldn't it be nice for me to get a scholarship not only for technology but also for writing? You guys ultimately get more money.
• Think of what a wonderful opportunity we could miss because you think, I'm too busy.

AM I BUSY?

• The truth is, I'm not very busy. My teachers don't give us much homework, and if they do, I often finish it in class.
• Honestly, I'm bored because I have no extracurricular activities to interest myself in. Don't ask me how many times after school I can't find anything to do. You don't want me to be bored while there is such a wonderful opportunity to fill my time.

WHAT IS OUR APP IDEA?

• Our app is called STAY (Saving The Abandoned Youth). The purpose for STAY is to show teenagers and young adults that they are not alone. Often teens feel like they are lost and no one understands them. Right now, the suicide rate among teens is very high. Too high in our perspective.
• STAY is social media for teens to talk with others going through the same thing.
