Why dog nose are wet?

The integumentary system is responsible for dogs noses being wet . Our skin,hair,nails and sweat glands are a part of this system . The main function of this system is to act as a barrier to protect the body from the outside environment . It also function to keep body fluids , protect against diseases ,eliminate waste products and regulate our body temperature .

DOGS TEND TO LICK THEIR NOSE A-LOT .MANY DOGS LICK THEIR NOSE TO KEEP THEMSELVES COOL. AWRY NOSE HELPS TO PUCK SCENTS IN THEIR ENVIRONMENT . AS THEY SNIFF THEY PICK UP MOISTURE FROM THE GRASS ,THE GROUND , plants and etc. A moist nose helps regulate their body temperature and cool down . They also secrete sweat from their paws their nose .
