Jealousy can cause someone to hate someone because of something they have. They could also hate someone because that person has an amazing life.

Jealousy can often lead to hate because someone can get so mad at that person for they have that all they can do is hate them.

The Bible says that jealously is hating someone. Also the Bible says that hating someone is one of the worst sins since God really wants us to love one another.

Jack hate sRalph because he started off being jealous that Ralph was chief. This progressed to Jack hunting Ralph with his tribe to try to kill him.

Even though jealousy can be a small thing, it can grow to something greater. For Jack it meant he wanted to kill Ralph in order to kill his envy.
