NAME-WHOOPING COUGH

  • Also it is a server hacking cough followed
  • By a high pitched in take that sounds like "whoop"

CAUSES

  • Whooping cough is caused by
  • Bacteria. The virus name is (Pertussis)

SIGNS/SYMPTOMS

  • Runny nose
  • Nasal congestion
  • Sneezing
  • Red,watery cough
  • A mild fever

  • Etc.

TREATMENT

  • Azitromycin
  • Clarithromycin
  • Erythromycin
  • Trimethoprim
  • Sulfamethoxazole

EFFECT ON BODY

  • Whooping cough has been shown to be safe
  • for pregnant women,effective in helping to reduce the
  • risk of the baby becoming infected with whooping cough.
