WHAT IS THE USUAL WOLFS' DIET?

  • Their diet varies from moose and elk to berries and grass hoppers

DO WOLVES' HAVE NATURAL PREDATORS?

  • No, but they do have enemies like coyotes and large cats

WHAT IS THE WOLVES LIFE CYCLE?

  • They live up to 6-13 years

DOES A WOLF BEHAVIOR CHANGE WITH THE SEASON?

  • No but the wolves become more aggressive when they breed

FUN FACTS

  • Wolves have 200 million scent cells
  • Wolves do not make good guard dogs
  • They are usually always alone so that they can look for food
  • They are really limited when it comes to food supply
  • They use their tails to keep them warm during winter
  • When they get older the wolves either stay in the pack as helpers or try to start their own packs.

  • Length: 4.5-6.5 feet from nose to tail-tip
  • Weight: 55-130 lbs males are more heavier and taller than females
  • They live up to 7-8 years in the wild
