WHAT IS SO GREAT ABOUT PAIN AND SUFFERING

• Pain and suffering is given to us for God to see if we can still walk with him
• God allowed this to happen to Job when he was living a faithful and wealthy life
• God is trying to test his people to know if they can still wlak with him and be faithful.

WHAT IS SO GREAT ABOUT PAIN AND SUFFERING

• Suffering reminds us to not take things for granted
• If you take things for granted, you suffer by losing the thing you didn't need most when its needed
• On a good day, enjoy yourself; On a bad day, examine your conscience. God arranges for both kinds of days so that we won’t take anything for granted.
• The last verse was Ecclesiastes 7:14

WHAT IS SO GREAT ABOUT PAIN AND SUFFERING

• God allows us to suffer so that we could get closer to him
• After 9/11 alot of Americans got closer to the religion of Christiantiy
• I believe he did this for two reasons actually.
• One reason is to increase the strength of people who think life is easy going
• Another reason is so we could rely on him at hard times.
