How I should improve: By telling the truth and being transparent. During the summer of 2018, I texted you where I was and who I was with. This time I should text you when we are not together, I should text you who I am with, where I am, and what am I doing. That way you know where I am like a report.
3. Studying hard and working hard is important. Where I am, I need to be focused and working hard so I can be successful in whatever area I go into. Working hard includes being on task and no fooling around or watching videos when working.
How I should improve: staying focus, taking little 5 mins to break after each subject, having my agenda out and open so you and I can see it and what I have to accomplish and letting you (LA or Peter) ask me any questions.
Bonus: according to a Harvard University research, listening to non-lyrical music has a "Mozart effect". The Mozart effect has proven to help high academic students concentrate, attention memory and less anxiety. Recommendation from Sam: work and listen to Lofi hip-hop radio - beats to relax/study.
4. Being selfless is better than selfish. So this means I need to think of others first instead of me. It can come in many forms from helping others to watching my attitude.
How I should improve: By watching my attitude and have more of an attitude of gratitude. Then if something is bothering me I should walk away go to the bathroom or take a quick walk. It might if you can tell me to walk around the house and think a little before saying another word.
What I have learned after the talk: I have to watch myself. Everyone is always looking and judging. Character is all I have and being a kind human is what we need to aspire to be. I learned that my selfish decisions will have an effect on people around me, for example, trust. When people don't trust me, it concludes to people hesitating to open up to me or letting me go out.
