let's look at what a plot is in a story
Plot has the following
- Introduction
- Rising action
- Climax
- Falling action
- Resolution
the introduction is where the story begins
An announcer that introduces a game
rising action is where events unfold
an escalating game of dodgeball
Climax is the conflict's peak of the story
the last round of a basketball game
falling action is where the central conflict decreases
people clapping after a game is over
the resolution occurs after the conflict is resolved
crowds rejoicing each other after a game is over
dialogue is a conversation between two characters
having a conversation with your friends
point of view is the narrative in which a story is told
1st person point of view (contains the word "I")
"I" enjoy playing video games
second point of view (contains the word "you")
third person view (contains the word like "their")
"they" are going to lunch
conflict is a struggle between two forces
Animals fight over territory
style is the way an author writes a story to convey emotion
the lion king's style of animation contains sadness
theme is the main idea and lesson in a story
The lesson in pinocchio is that lying creates trouble
