PRESENTATION OUTLINE

HELLO EVERYBODY HAVE FUN WATCHING THIS THINGY

Wetlands

If wetlands were gone we would have more floods. But wetlands stop floods happening. The mud sucks in all the water and the new water goes in and the mud is more squelchy but the new water is clean. Eventually the water will dry out and the old water will come back into the wetland and the animals will be able to drink again.

Hoho

Fresh water wetlands are found all over the world in law land areas or along rivers, lakes and streams.

Some wetlands are temporary and seasonal. They occur for a few weeks at a time and they disappear until they are refilled with water. Other wetlands are always underwater.

Wetlands are very beautiful places without rubbish and dead things floating around in the water.

Most soil in wetlands are mucky and squelchy. If they are like this it means they are fresh and clean.
