WELDING PROCESSES
There is three different types of welding.
MIG(Metal inert gas), TIG(Tungsten inert gas), Stick Welding
MIG welding is easier and faster to put down welds
TIG welding is more delicate and a fine technique
Stick welding is a little bit harder to do

Some employers look for a high school diploma
Other employers look for a certificate from a technical or vocational school
To be able to work in confined spaces
To work in high elevations
To be able to lift heavy pieces of metal

Skilled welders are already at the top
Experienced welders can become supervisors
Supervisors can become inspecters

TYPICAL DAY
The welder would get a assignment for the day
He/she will figure out the best way to get it done
Then they set up their welding equipment
He/she will start to do the welds
When they are done, he/she will check and make sure they are code quality

If they are, they put the finished product somewhere
Clean up their work area
Put their tools away
Finally they go home
