PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Rhode Island was Founded in 1636 by Rodger Williams who was born December 21, 1603. He was 33 when he founded Rhode Island. It is a New England Colony.
We accept all religions, even ones that aren't welcome in other colonies. We are a haven for Baptists and Quakers which are both forms of Christianity. We are also a haven for Jews.
We are bordered by Connecticut, Massachusetts, and The Atlantic Ocean
We have grassy mountains, lots of trees, beautiful rivers, but we do have very poor rocky soil that makes it hard to farm crops.
But we do have excellent ports. Some of the jobs we have are: Fishing, whaling, and shipbuilding.
Fun facts
