Laboratory Check-In Sheet

LABORATORY CHECK-IN SHEET

  • Connect with your lab partner
  • Put the bin # under "Drawer Assigned"
  • Each student should fill out the student information boxes
  • Look for column #1
  • In column #1 only, ensure you have each item with either a check mark or quantity
  • If you find something is missing, let me know!
  • Both students sign the first signature lines

  • No make-up for "wet" labs
  • 25% of your grade

PART C - TEMPERATURE

  • Handle with caution
  • Use a beaker and water from your lab bench to record the temperature of tap water
  • Wait at least 60 seconds

PART D - MASS

  • There are 2 different mass balances in the lab
  • Choose 2 solid objects
  • Record the mass of each object at each mass balance

PART E - VOLUME

  • Column "Volume 1" is for one student
  • Column "Volume 2" is for the other
  • Don't share your results until the end
  • Did you get on eye level on measure from the base of the miniscus?
