On your own, reflect on what goals are you having success in your classroom? What do you need to improve on?

With Partner A, what goals are we having success with as a school, and what goals do we need to improve on as a school?

How?

  • We started with a list of 17 principals
  • The school administrators and divisional coaches focused them into the 5 we see
  • We will continue to revise as we continue our journey

Why?

  • our division has diverse cultures, needs and personalities
  • we respect and honor our diversity
  • provides a vision to meet our challenges and celebrate our strengths
  • to have something to guide our work at the school and division

Take a minute to personally reflect on the 5 principles. What are your strengths, and what are your weaknesses?

With Partner B, have a short (3-5 min) discussion. What stands out to you? Both as individuals and as a school.

Find Partner C, discuss and record what successes and difficulties we have with the 5 pillars as a school. Record them on the sheet provided.

At our next staff meeting, we will review the data and set goals to move forward
