STRATUS CLOUDS

  • Found below 6000 ft
  • They dont make rain, but sometimes they drizzel.
  • These clouds are mainly thin

NIMBOSTRATUS CLOUDS

  • Found below 10000 ft
  • They probuce rain
  • They are some what thick

  • Found between 6000 - 20000 ft
  • They dont produce rain
  • They wre usually spred out and pretty thin

  • Found between 6000 - 20000 ft
  • They produce thunder for thunder storms
  • Thay are usually pretty thick

  • Thay are usually really thin

  • They are the head of warm fronts
  • They are usually thick patches

  • Dosnt produce rain but can form into a cloud that can
  • They are really thick coulds

  • Can produce lighning, hail, and tornados
  • They can be barely thick to extremely thick
