STEP 3 (Organisation)

  • Time for feedback is arranged prior to observation
  • Feedback is clear, specific, concise and given asap.

STEP 4 (Morale)

  • Areas of positivity to be focused on from observations
  • An appreciation that staff react very differently to being observed
  • Should all be about praise, suggestions and support

STEP 5 (Perspective)

  • Any observer should ideally take the time to speak with the students on day to day classroom learning
  • True picture and NOT snapshot judgement

STEP 6 (Be constructive)

  • It is vital the experience for staff is a positive one, even if the lesson doesn't go to plan.
