PRESENTATION OUTLINE
1.
WAVE ENERGY
Wave energy uses the movement
of the ocean to generate
electricity. This is a clean source
that we can use from something
natural, that way we don't harm the earth.

2.
HOW DOES THIS TECHNOLOGY WORK
It is a long tube, you place it in
the water and it harnesses the
waves from the water. Then it
transfers the energy from the waves
to energy that we can use.

3.
HOW COULD THIS TECHNOLOGY SOURCE BE USED
Electricity generators are place out in
the ocean, then they measure the wave
height, the density, the length, and the speed.
Based on those factors, we get energy from the
generators.

4.
WHAT ARE SOME EXAMPLE OF ITS CURRENT USE
Right now it's current use
is getting energy from a
Natural energy source.

5.
WHAT EFFECT DOES IT HAVE ON THE ENVIRONMENT
Wave energy has a good
effect on the environment
because it's a natural source
so it does not harm the
environment.

6.
IS THIS TECHNOLOGY WIDELY ACCEPTED TODAY?
Wave energy has a density of
800x wind does. It gives
much more energy then wind
does, so yes it is widely used
by seaside countries.

7.
POSITIVES AND NEGATIVES TO ITS USE
The positives include that it
is a clean power source.
