Is Pollution ending our Natural Resources of Water?

Water pollution is the contamination of bodies of water.

Pollution has been a major threat to our fresh water.

This environmental degradation happens when pollutants are discharged from location "A" to a water source.

Many pollutants include runoffs from farms, factories, or sewage plants.

With only 2% of water is fresh water,
most of the fresh water sources are frozen
in glaciers and icebergs.

We can't get our fresh water from glaciers or icebergs, so we retrieve it from the ground. This type of fresh water is known as ground water.

Ground water can be obtained from wells, pumps, or rivers.

Most of the fresh water available are used by human activity.

Many Cities have restricted how water is used, to prevent overuse or runoffs.

There are different sources for water as well, rain collection for example.

Rain collection can still have contaminants like sulfur.
