Arligton National Cemetery

  • This Cemetery in Washington D.C is the resting play for soldiers. 
  • It holds the soldiers of the American Civil War and even earlier wars.
  • This land was received in 1802 also the Arligton House was founded near thi
  • This has also been expanded for more soldiers in 1993 for soldiers in wars.

  • Since this museum is dedicated to the date April 22, 1993 30 million went.
  • This museum was establish November,1 ,1978.
  • You can go to this museum in Washington,DC.

National Museum of Air and Space

  • This national museum has the largest collection of air crafts in the world.
  • This facility holds up to 161,145 squar feet of space and plane air crafts.
  • The museum was opened in 1976 to the public but was establihed in 1946.
  • This is the 4th most visited museum in the world.
  • This museum was orignally called the Natinal Aur Museum.

Pentogon Memorial

  • Located only southwest of the pentagon this memorial is located in Arlington County
  • This is a permanent memorial dedicated to the people that died in the Pentagon in the 9/11 attack.
  • Designed by Julie Beckman and Keith Kaseman, it was opened in September,11,08
  • This memorial is open to all people and is a memorial to the 183 women and

Marinel Corps Memorial

  • This memorial is at the entrance of Arlington Park.
  • This memorial is dedicated to the soldiers that defended te U.S since 1755.
  • This memorial shows the six service men that held up the flag on  on Mount Suribachi in 1945.
  • This memorial was built in November 10, 1954.

Korean War Memorial

  • This memorial is covered by polished marble walls 164 feet long and 8 inches thick.
  • Within the marble wall there are 19 stainless steel statues standing at feet tall and 6 inches wide.
  • These statues weigh ing in at 1000 pounds.
  • When reflected on the wall, there appear to be 38 soldiers, representing the 38th parallel.

  • This is a building in the western end of the National Mall.
  • This building is in the form of a Greek Doric and is inscripted in his most famous speeches.
  • These speeches include Ghettysburg Address and Second Inaugural Address.

Washington National Cathedral

  • This cathedral is the sixth largest cathedral in the world.
  • built to model the fashion of 14 century gothic cathedrals in which it was made in which in the time it was made.
  • This is recorded the second biggest cathedral in the United states.
  • In 2009 over 400,000 people visited this cathedral and also in the same year on average 1,667 people attended church service on sundays.
