PRESENTATION OUTLINE
1.
WAITING FOR NORMAL
2.
THE NEW HOUSE
As they rolled up to their new house momers got out of the car.
We saw a small yellow trailer under a railroad mommers screaming at Dwight.
She was screaming about how is that he put us in this dump.
I saw tears roll down her face when Dwight left the train passed
The whole house shook like a earthquake.
3.
SAD OCASION
Bad bad bad as she watched the trailer burn down.
It was her fault she had done it mommers would have been mad.
But it couldn't possibly get worse but it did her best friend soula.
Had died Dss approached her and asked how long has your mother been gone.
She knew it she would be taken away from her mom.
4.
FAR AWAY
She saw her grandfather coming up he told her to get in the car.
She knew right then she was no longer living with her mom but her grandpa.
She was not allowed to talk to her or see her yet court order.
She was sad sad that she couldn't see her mom and when her mom seen what she has done.
5.
MOMMERS
Unresponsive, she left her kid alone for a week.
Dissapointing, she is not a good mom and yet she's having another kid which she can't handle.
6.
SOULA
Sweet, she gave money to bye a flute and was their for her.
Nice, she gave her free pies from the shop.
Unique, she has her own style with big dresses and alout of makeup.
7.
SETTING
The setting takes place mostly at her house.
Also the gas station because she was always over there cause her mom was never home.
8.
MOOD 1
Mood I would describe is sad.
Because in the book she says.
"And I don't know how a person has enough sense to get out of a burning trailer but not me.
(Connor 225)
I think that's sad because her house burned down she has nothing left of her own belongings no where to go.
9.
MOOD 2
"How long has your mother been away.
(Connor 262)
This sentence is sad because her mom has been away for so long and her kid. Is all by herself.
10.
THEME
The theme is that they will get better.
I think this becaus her life did.
It started out her she was alone always.
Also her house burnt down.
But now she lives in a big house with a caring family it got better.
