KORESH REASON FOR AN ARMY IS...

• Koresh believed that the lord told him to build an army for his religious beliefs
• He started to collect weapons with his followers

WHY WAS THE FBI AT KORESH DOOR

The FBI received information that the Branch Davidians was recruiting guns so they hopped on the case

• The FBI showed up at Koreshes door no one knows who shot first but a six hour gun shotout after
• When the shotout ended there where six branch Davidians and four FBI agents found dead

51 DAYS

• HOW DID THEY SURVIVE THE FIFTY ONE DAY STAND OFF
• Koresh had a year supply of food and some of it was military MREs (meals ready to eat)

• Koresh made a one hour audio tape of his religious teachings so his lessons could pass on
• Koresh followers were thinking of committing suicide

WHY DID THE FBI ESPECT A SURRENDER: Koresh asked for one of his sermons to be broadcasted on a national radio station in return for giving himself up to FBI agents it the surrender never happened

THE SCARY NOTE

• When the kids was getting scent out of the way of danger into the police hands one little girl had a note pinned to her that stated that once all the children are out the adults will die

THE EXPECTED FIRE

• No one knows who started the fire all that they know is it started in a corner of a room it was a mystery fire that killed all but one

ONE LUCKY SURVIVER

• Because of that fire all of Koreshes followers died except for Thomas (a girl) who leaped out of a bedroom window on a second floor she suffered a 200 degrees burn.
