Kenmochi Hideki created Vocaloid. He was the leader of a team in Japan that was creating software that enhances vocals from vocalists. During development Kenmochi learned he did not need the vocalists to have vocals, and could create vocals with what he named Vocaloid, a singing voice synthesizer.

Vocaloid became infamously popular due to one of the vocaloids named Hastune Miku. She became very popular all over the world, and due to this they started creating more vocaloid characters.

After Vocaloid became popular,Vocaloid soon became well known in America due to Project Diva. Project Diva used Vocaloid and made them into a Japanese dance game.

Vocaloid consists of Hastune Miku, Kagmine Rin, Kagmine Len, Katio Shion, and Mega Luka.
(These are just popular and the first ones since anyone can created a Vocaloid using the program)

What makes Vocaloid important to The Hall of Frame is that their music is computer-made. Even though computer-made music have been made before what makes Vocaloid different is that their music uses vocals but without a person singing, just a computer.

Vocaloid is not only a musical advancement, but also a technology advancement which is why Vocaloid should be remember.

During my project I learned new things about Vocaloid, such as they actually perform concerts and do tours around the world, even though they are computer-made.

For my music, I am using the song World is Mine by Hastune Miku

This song is the first song performed lived by Hastune Miku, the first Vocaloid to make Vocaloid popular worldwide, sings it.
