What is a Virus?

  • A virus are particles.
  • They can cause diseases in people animals and plants
  • They multiply only when they can feed off of the host's body
  • Viruses can spread really quickly

How do these viruses spread?

  • Insects
  • Water
  • Air
  • Ingection
  • Coughing/Snezzing
  • Touching
  • Intercourse

What Happened?

  • Over 10,000 killed
  • Over 25,000 infected
  • The week of November 18,2015 it is confirmed that there have been no more cases of Ebola
  • Over 7,000 WHO experts had been sent to help stop the movement of the virus

How can we mitigate the impact of the virus?

  • Washing hands with soap daily
  • Don't share things that have been in your mouth
  • Get vaccinated
  • Cover your mouth when coughing
  • Avoid touching your eyes,nose and mouth
