  • 1. Plank: “We must acknowledge that as our troops have experienced repeated deployments, so have their families”.
  • Rationale: (why would the people in your district want this to happen?) Acknowledging that troops are having to be deployed, leaving their families behind. In return of helping the families, Congressperson would provide these families with counseling and also sending care packages to the soldiers.
  • Plank: “We will use the full force of the law against those who engage in modern-day forms of slavery, including the commercial sexual exploitation of children and the forced labor of men, women, and children”.
  • Rationale: Human trafficking is one of the world’s biggest crimes. There are many ways the public can stop and prevent human trafficking. Congressperson would issue programs and organizations in order to end human trafficking.

  • Plank: “We are committed to ending homelessness for our veterans”.
  • Rationale: Veterans fought for our freedom yet over 67,000 veterans are jobless and homeless. Congressperson must would also issue more programs and get the public involved with organizations in order to help veterans get off the streets, working and living.
  • Plank: “Corps volunteers teaching in one-room schools to U.S. Seabees building village projects, we will continue to strengthen the personal and commercial ties between our country and African nations”.
  • Rationale: The Congressperson can think of ways in which the public can help the people in African, such as providing them with clean water. Corps volunteers also have their share in helping the people in Africa to be educated.
