To an extent, you do not control your thoughts and actions, but others do. I found my self fearful of what others may think, and how others may react and chickened out of many ideas so that I would not be stared at strangely. I began to think that they were thinking of me strangely and what thoughts may be going through their head.
Be more of a risk taker, and just do what I need, rather that being concerned with the thoughts and feelings of others, and how they may feel and react.
