PRESENTATION OUTLINE

VIEWING WHALES FROM SPACE

BY, JADEN FINNEY

WHALES ARE BECOMING EXTINCT

  • Whales numbers are decreasing by the years.
  • Their numbers dropped from a pre-whaling population of 55,000-70,000 to just 300 by the 1920s.
  • By viewing whales from space we will be able to know where they are and how we can help them.

HOW WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO DO THIS

  • Satellites are the answer.
  • Satellites would take a highly complicated picture from space.
  • From this picture scientists can see where the whales are to protect them.
