WHO- THE COMMUNIST NORTH VIETNAM VS.

THE DEMOCRATIC SOUTH VIETNAM AND THE USA

The Vietnam war was a war where guerrilla warfare and modern weapons like tanks, airplanes, bombs were used. The Vietcong used tactics like hit and run.

WHERE- VIETNAM

WHEN- 1955-1975

WHY- TRYING TO STOP

THE SPREAD OF COMMUNISM

The army of the republic of Vietnam was also known as the south Vietnamese army. They had 710,00 people in their army and were fighting against communism. They lost the war and Vietnam became one communist country.

North Vietnam, also known as the Vietcong, had two army's a regular army and a guerrilla army. This communist army had 800,000 people. They were fighting for communism and they won.

I thought the Vietnam war was an utter, unmitigated disaster, so it was very hard for me to say anything good about it.
