「But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”」 Romans 10:14-15 NLT

「My heart is filled with bitter sorrow and unending grief for my people, my Jewish brothers and sisters. I would be willing to be forever cursed—cut off from Christ!—if that would save them. They are the people of Israel, chosen to be God’s adopted children. God revealed his glory to them. He made covenants with them and gave them his law. He gave them the privilege of worshiping him and receiving his wonderful promises.」 Romans 9:2-4 NLT http://bible.com/116/rom.9.2-4.nlt

Compassion changes: 1. The way we look at our friends who don't trust Jesus 2. The way we pray for the lost. 3. The way we treat our neighbors, our parents, our bosses, other people .. 4. The way we sinners like prostitutes, drug lords, murderers, rapist, liars, homosexuals, etc.

Conclusion: The question here is not " How" ( to reach out and win souls) but "Why" ( do we need to reach out, do we need to win souls, do we need to become bold witness of Christ) 1. Developing a heart for the lost speaks first to our MOTIVATION not our method. 2. Being motivated for outreach boils down to a matter of belief: " we believe, therefore we speak."
