I am the United States and I have a long tradition with intervening in Central America.

I am Nicaragua and I am trying to hold my first national election since the overthrow of Anastasio Somoza.

I want to send aid to the contras to attack Nicaraguan soldiers. I support these counterrevolutionaries because I want them to disrupt Nicaraguan support and force the Nicaraguan government to make concessions.

I am surprised how the people of the U.S. haven't figured out that there leaders are the ones who created the contras. They are also sending military advisers to train and arm these contras to hurt my people.

I am going to keep helping the contras and intervene in internal affairs in Nicaragua. I am also going to use air and land attacks again Nicaraguan soldiers.

I am shocked with how the U.S. is violating international law by supporting these counterrevolutionaries and helping them attack my government. This whole situation is wrong and should be dealt in the International Court of Justice.

I will no doubt attend this international case and spread my views.

Let's go to court.

After both countries went to court, the International Court of Justice said that the U.S. had violated international law by supporting the contras. The U.S. had to pay compensation for destroying Nicaraguan property, people, and economy. The United States did not agree with this sentence and did not pay the fine.
