- The scientific revolution was a major breakthrough in science
- It started in the 1500s
- Before the 1500s the Catholic Church was believed to be the smartest
- In the 1500s Galileo wrote a book about a person's discovories
- The Catholic Church soon arrested him
SCIENTIFIC REVOLUTION
- the compass was an invention which always pointed north
- There also was an astrolobe that was a map of the stars
- The telescope made it easier to look at the stars
- The other compass drew angles
- The inventions of the scientific revolution changed the world forever

- Queen isabella helped columbus discover the new world
- Columbus wanted to prove that the Earth is round
- Columbus thaught he was in the Indian islands but he was in North America
- Soon everybody wanted to have land in the new world
- Then the new world was filled with different country's settlements
