  • It started in the 1500s
  • Before the 1500s the Catholic Church was believed to be the smartest
  • In the 1500s Galileo wrote a book about a person's discovories
  • The Catholic Church soon arrested him

  • the compass was an invention which always pointed north
  • There also was an astrolobe that was a map of the stars
  • The telescope made it easier to look at the stars
  • The other compass drew angles
  • The inventions of the scientific revolution changed the world forever

  • Queen isabella helped columbus discover the new world
  • Columbus wanted to prove that the Earth is round
  • Columbus thaught he was in the Indian islands but he was in North America
  • Soon everybody wanted to have land in the new world
  • Then the new world was filled with different country's settlements
