Slang: used as a disparaging term for a colored person
HONKY
A derogatory term for a Caucasian/white person. There are many theories for the origin of the word
Honky may have come from coal miners in Oak Hill, West Virginia. The miners were segregated; blacks in one section, whites in another. Foreigners who could not speak English, mostly from Europe, were separated from both groups into an area known as "Hunk Hill", from wich originated "Hunkies".
STREETWISE
When someone has a sense of, or knows how to handle themselves in a rough neighbourhood or ghetto
Thug
a criminal or someone struggling to make something of their life
Truck
a vehicle that is open at the back, used for carrying goods, soldiers, animals, etc.
