  • Died by getting dragged through the streets by angry bulls

THE FESTIVAL

  • Chupinazo/ Riau-Riau (6th)
  • Saint Fermin procession(7th)
  • El Struendo ("the roar")
  • Then the main events

CHUPINAZO

  • The opening of the festival
  • A rocket is launched at 12 noon on july 6th
  • Off the city hall balcony

RIAU-RIAU

  • Massive parade
  • The city hall members put together

SAINT FERMIN PROCESSION

  • Thousands of people accompany the 15th ceentury statue
  • Its located in the old part of Pamplona
  • During this a Jota (ancient dancer) performs for the saint

RUNNING OF THE BULLS

  • From the 7th to the 14th
  • Hundreds of people run ahead of 6 angry bulls
  • 6 oxen are on the outside of the bulls to guide
  • The run ends at the Pamplona bullring

INJURIES

  • Since 1925, 15 people have been killed
  • 200-300 people get injured a year
