Same as the Past tense
Formed by combining present tense avoir or être and the past participle of the verb
For example: Subject + avoir/etre + past participle

To form the past participle you have to use a specific ending.
It is just like adding on an "ed" in english.

Ex: danser changes to dansé

The être verb's endings may change.
They will change depending weather the subject is singular/plural
They will also change depending on if the subject is masculine/feminine
