PRESENTATION OUTLINE

DO STANDARDIZED TEST REALLY MATTER?

BY:HALLE HUNT

Untitled Slide

  • Standardized tests aren't really important because they aren't an actual grade. This argument has been questioned for years.
  • Standardized tests dont matter to students success because it causes more stress and anxiety then help, it's more of a "grade" for the school then it is for you and they aren't an accurate measure of intelligence.
  • I don't think they matter because they don't show anything a regular test in class can't.

THEY CAUSE MORE STRESS THEN HELP

  • 90% of school psychologist that responded to a survey said that teachers expectations contributed to test anxiety and 88% said that parents expectations also contributed.
