GREENE BROS

• This house includes leading windows as well as an emphasis on horizontal lines. It is similar to the Gamble House in that the colors create a natural feel in a soft green and brown. The roof trim as well as the cloud lift in the top windows are also seen.

GEODESIC DOME

• DOME SHAPE, SEGMENTED GLASS DORMERS, WINDOWS, AND SPACE FRAMES ALL ADD IN TO MAKING THIS A GEODESIC DOME

RED HOUSE

• This house includes steep roofs, a prominent chimney, exposed red brick, and an L-shaped design that make this a Red House.

ART DECO

• This is a sky scraper style Art Deco building in that it has a very curvilinear style, streamlined form, and has a very silver/chrome-like color.

MARSHALL fIELDS

• This building is a Marshall Fields design because of the arched windows, is seen as one big "block", and an uninterrupted series of arcades on each side

QUEEN ANN STYLE

• This house has a lot of contrast, a steeply pitched roof, and a round turret making it a Queen Anne Style house.

SHINGLE STYLE

• Outside of house covered in shingles (roof, outer walls) making it a shingle style house.

STICK STYLE

• The outer walls of the house are covered with exposed, brown colored "sticks" making it a Victorian Stick Style house.

GOTHIC

• This building has pointed arches, round-headed arches, towers, spires, and pinnacles making it a Gothic style structure.

NEOCLASSICAL

• This building has a symmetrical shape, tall columns, and a triangular pediment making it Neoclassical.

GROIN VAULT AND GOTHIS REVIVALIST

• The interior of the building is made up of numerous groin vaults. The outside has gothic revivalist traits such as pointed arches, steep sloping roofs, and fancy carvings.

TRIUMPHAL ARCH

• This building is in the shape of an archway using two connected piers.

GROPIUS

• It is a three story wing, with unostentatious rows of windows and lightly colored. The light colors of the brick contrast the dark colored windows.

POST MODERN

• This building features beams protruding randomly from the building making it quite post modern.

VAN DOE ROHE

• THIS BUILDING IS A STEEL MADE STRUCTURE COVERED IN GLASS WINDOWS DISPLAYED IN A SIMPLE RECTANGULAR SHAPE MAKING IT A VAN DER ROHE.

ARCHITECHURAL DECORATIONS

• This is the Sandwich Castle. It is modeled after a small castle in order display that it is in fact a sandwich "castle." We enjoyed the marketing idea and they have tasty sandwiches.

PRAIRIE STYLE

• This building has low slung, open roofs

GRECO ROMAN

• This building features tall columns below a triangular roof with details carvings making it a Greco Roman style structure.

GOTHIC

• This building shows numerous pointed arches and arched windows making it a Gothic building
