CELL THEORY

  • All living things are made up of cells.
  • Cells are the most basic unit of life.
  • Cells are created from different cells.

PARTS OF PLANTS AND ANIMAL CELLS

  • Nucleus - controls all activities of a cell
  • Vacuole- Stores food , water , and waste for the cell.
  • Mitochondria - functions all of the cells energy and is in cytoplasm.
  • Cell Membrane- layer around the cell, that lets things in and out of the cell.
  • Cytoplasm- jelly-like substance that is between the Nucleus and cell membrane.

PARTS ONLY IN THE PLANT CELL

  • Chloroplast- What Helps Photosynthesis process and contains Chlorophyll
  • Cell Wall- protects the cell

  • Eurkaryotic- a cell that has a Nucleus
  • Prokaryotic- a cell that doesn't have a Nucleus
